We’re delighted to announce that following presentation of the GlobalSurg 1 results at the inaugural conference of the Global Anaesthetic, Surgery & Obstetric Collaboration conference on 14th April 2016, we have been awarded the top prize for the best presentation.  The following day, GlobalSurg members presented more detail on our previous and current work at the Royal College of Surgeons of England’s Global Surgical Frontiers conference.  This received an enthusiastic response from the audience which included several influential figures from the Lancet Commission on Global Surgery.  The GlobalSurg collaboration is together producing work which is being recognised for its key international importance.  Let’s keep up the good work and get that data flowing for GlobalSurg 2!
