Half way through GlobalSurg 2

The response to GlobalSurg 2 has been truly fantastic!

Thank you to everyone who has deposited their data via REDCap.

The study is now half way through the data collection period and we have 2731 patient records deposited in our secure database.

Do you know how to find your GlobalSurg 2 local lead?

You can use the interact map and contact form on our website to identify and contact your nearest GlobalSurg 2 local lead directly.

Are you in country without a lead assigned?

If you have registered to take part in GlobalSurg 2 in a country without a local lead assigned and you need some help please contact your nearest geographical lead or the GlobalSurg team via our website contact form. You could even volunteer to lead your country!

GlobalSurg enjoys success at top global surgery conferences

GlobalSurg had a strong presence at the Royal College of Surgeons in London where the recent Global Anaesthetic, Surgery & Obstetric Collaboration (GASOC) and Global Surgical Frontiers conferences were held in April. Analysis of GlobalSurg 1 was awarded best presentation at GASOC, and GlobalSurg had a busy stand at the Global Surgical Frontiers conference launching the new GlobalSurg randomised controlled trial. It was also a great opportunity to spread the word about the work of GlobalSurg to leaders in the field and potential future collaborators!

We now have a fantastic 2097 registrations for GlobalSurg 2 in 96 countries. Thank you to everyone has registered to join GlobalSurg – our projects couldn’t run without the hard work and efforts of all our collaborators!
