Welcome to our New Collaborators!
Welcome to all our new collaborators, especially those from Hong Kong and Burundi – the latest countries to join the GlobalSurg community
Steps to Success in GlobalSurg II

Please follow these 3 simple steps:

1. Download the GlobalSurg II protocol, take the SSI training module and learn about data entry with REDCap

2. Get permission from a senior surgeon and apply for audit or ethical approval in your local hospital. The UK version confirming that this is acceptable as clinical audit is enclosed with the protocol appendix.

3. Choose a two-week period between January 2016 – July 2016 in which to identify patients. You can recruit 2 other people into a mini team to help you (medical student, trainee or senior surgeon).

We now have over 1500 collaborators registered in 77 countries for GlobalSurg II – a truly fantastic effort!

Thank you to everyone for promoting the study and registering so far – there is still time to register though so please continue to promote the study to colleagues at neighboring hospitals.
